The largest biker party on the planet, South Dakota’s Sturgis Rally 2016, kicks off its 76th year with a stellar lineup of concerts acts. Some of the largest concerts take place at the famous Iron Horse Saloon and this year Autograph headlines on Friday, August 5th. The world famous Iron Horse Saloon bills itself as a destination for bikers and according to its website, during the Sturgis Rally, hosts “a distinctive line-up of awesome music from national acts of all genres, great beer, and drinks, along with an affinity for motorcyclists of all types.”
Autograph band members Simon Daniels (Lead vocals/guitar), Steve Lynch (Lead guitar/vocals), Randy Rand (Bass/vocals) and Marc Wieland (Drums) have toured the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. extensively since 2014 and released a new EP, Louder, recently. Autograph‘s Top 40 hit “Turn Up the Radio” still receives steady airplay and according to Lynch, the band is “much heavier than before. We’re not using keyboards and we’re tuning down for a much fatter sound. That strengthens everything. At the same time, the melodic vocals and catchy hooks are still an integral part of our sound.”
If you can’t catch Autograph at the Sturgis Rally, they have concert dates throughout Canada and the U.S. through the end of October.
