crobotDecibel Geek‘s own staff writer Bakko has an unhealthy love affair with the band Crobot. Here’s some info on their upcoming Welcome to Fat City album and be sure to check out his recent Crobot concert review.

Central Pennsylvania old-souled, dirty groove rock quartet CROBOT has unveiled its latest single, “Not For Sale” as the first sneak peek to its upcoming album, Welcome To Fat City. From start to finish and in true CROBOT fashion, this ripper doesn’t stop twisting and turning like a hard rock tidal wave. It gives you just enough time to come up for air, only to get pummeled back into the groovy undertow.

Welcome To Fat City is a highly anticipated follow-up to CROBOT‘s debut album, Something Supernatural, which saw the four-piece dominate the U.S. and European live scene. Recorded with producer Machine (CLUTCH, LAMB OF GOD, EVERY TIME I DIE) and mixed by engineer Alan Moulder (FOO FIGHTERS, NINE INCH NAILS, THEM CROOKED VULTURES, LED ZEPPELIN), the disc is due for release on September 23 via Wind-Up Records. (from Blabbermouth)

The new face of Rock and Roll, the band is redefining the music landscape with their unique and raging blend of rock, blues, and funk. Their new album Welcome to Fat City features the heavy-hitting rock single “Not For Sale”.
