GrumpynatorsGRUMPYNATORS (DK) Releases Music Video “Take The Last Dance With Me” with a personal feel!

“This time we have focused on using friends and fans as actors instead of professionals” says singer Emil Øelund and continues: “In Grumpynators we are very attached to all the good people that support us, and therefore thought it would be a cozy, family-vibe in using them in the video”. One of the people starring in the video is Andrew, who traveled all the way from Canada to see a Grumpynators show they played the day before the video-shoot.

Take The Last Dance With Me” is about the sad lonely man, who sits in a bar late at night, and dreams about picking up a sweet girl. This is also reflected in the video, where the band plays the role as a house band in the small bar.

Grumpynators was founded in January 2011 in Copenhagen by former band members and crew from Taggy Tones and Volbeat.
The style is Hard Rock with elements from Metal, Punk, and Billy genres. One of the key elements is Double Bass, which makes both the looks and sounds special.

First Gig: August 6, 2011, at underground festival Barnyard Rumble in Denmark. Since then there has been several gigs and also support acts for famous danish rock band Magtens Korridorer on their spring tour in 2012. In February 2013 they supported Volbeat on the entire First Five tour.

In December 2011, a demo EP with 5 songs was released. In February 2013 the next EP 666 RPM was released. Their influences include Lemmy and Motörhead, Metallica, Twisted Sister, Social Distortion, Megadeth, Slipknot, Nekromantix, Volbeat, Ramones, 40’s and 50’s Country and Rockabilly.
