L.A. COBRA Release New Music Video (News)

1 L.A. Cobra NEWBilled as South Africa’s only sleaze rock band, L.A. COBRA premiered their brand new music video for the single “Rock ‘n Roll Pretoria” via Sleaze Roxx  last night. For those in the neighborhood, L.A. COBRA also hosted a viewing premiere at the local Hooters restaurant in Pretoria, South Africa on Thursday, July 28, 2016. The single “Rock ‘n Roll Pretoria” is taken from their forthcoming third album, Shotgun Slinger.

Formed in 2005, L.A. COBRA‘s Facebook page states: L.A. COBRA is South Africa’s answer to 80’s Hair Metal – Pretoria Style! The only Glam Rock/Metal Sleaze , Rock ‘n Roll band on the African Continent.” The band’s debut album, Cherry Hill, surfaced in early 2007, followed by the sophomore effort, How Much Snake Can You Take? in 2011. Now the third full-length, Shotgun Slinger, is expected later this summer. There have been some lineup adjustments for L.A. COBRA between How Much Snake Can You Take? and the forthcoming Shotgun Slinger and the band now realizes membership of Don Cobra (Vocals/Guitar), Slade (Guitar), Callie the Animal (Drums) and Ewil Honey (Bass).

Claiming in their press release, “The most dangerous band in town is set to break hearts and melt faces at the launch of their brand new music video for the single “Rock ‘n Roll Pretoria” of their soon to be released third album.” Check out L.A.
