Christian neoclassical progressive power metal band, NARNIA was founded in Sweden in 1996 by guitarist Carl Johan Grimmark and singer Christian Liljegren. Disbanding in 210 and reforming again in 2014, NARNIA have issued 6 studio albums with themes heavily referencing C.S. Lewis‘ The Chronicles of Narnia. Now they are set to unveil their seventh offering on September 16, 2016.
The band’s seventh studio album entitled Narnia, is an album that some say could be their strongest so far! The album is produced by CJ Grimmark and mixed and mastered by Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson (Scar Symmetry). On June 3, 2016, the first single, “Reaching for the Top” was released. To follow up the new album they plan to visit as many countries as possible, to meet new and old fans. The roster for this new album sees Andreas Passmark (bass), Martin Härenstam (keyboards) and Andreas ‘Habo’ Johansson (drums) joining founders CJ Grimmark (guitars), Christian Liljegren (vocals).
