Sweden Rock 2018 Judas PriestAnother 26 bands confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival Judas Priest, Helloween, Stone Sour, Kreator and many more.

Following the confirmations of Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne and Heavy Load, we are happy to announce another 26 bands for this summer’s festival.

Judas Priest always rank high on the wish lists of our guests and have played several amazing shows at Sweden Rock since their 2004 reunions tour. Next summer, the heavy metal pioneers return with a brand new album just released.

Helloween recently expanded their line-up with their former members Michael Kiske (vocals) and Kai Hansen (vocals and guitar). On December 2nd they play a sold out arena show outside Gothenburg and in June they bring their “Pumpkins United” tour to Sölvesborg.

After their post millennium reunion, Stone Sour was, at least for a while, best known as “that other band with Corey Talor from Slipknot“. Now they are big enough to sell out big concert halls and count as one of the major names of the metal scene of today.

Also confirmed for the festival are Kreator, Tarja, Vixen, Pretty Maids, Doc Holliday, Primordial, Joe Lynn Turner, Suffocation, Nazareth, Rotting Christ, Pop Evil, Nocturnal Rites, The 69 Eyes, Cyhra, Bullet, The Mick Clarke Band, Pist. On, F.K.Ü., Circus Maximus, The Quill, Lugnet, The New Roses and Junkyard Drive.

With this, 29 out of a total of 80 acts have been announced. More bands will follow as they get confirmed.

The Sweden Rock Festival takes place in Sölvesborg on June 6th-9th. Tickets will be made available on Friday, November 24th at 09.00 CET.
