Presence Rock Your Life – The French Connection!

Presence Rock Your Life – The French Connection!

France has produced a lot of great metal acts through the years like Nightmare, Squealer, Heavenly and Fisc but is probably more known for their cheese and wine than being the home of heavy metal/hard rock music. France has of course also bread great artists  like Terry Ilous of XYZ. One of the lesser known bands that never got a commercial breakthrough but had a good and honest shot at fame and fortune was Presence who…

Hellfest: Meister’s First Day In Hell

Hellfest: Meister’s Eurotrip 2015-June 19, Day One in Hell I arrived at the hotel in Nantes in the later part of Thursday afternoon and after a gorgeous shower in a proper facility I headed out to explore. I was able to happen across a couple of CD stores selling used products however there was absolutely nothing resembling a bargain to be had anywhere. I observed that there seemed to be absolutely no discernible respect for…

Sweden Rock-Meister’s Eurotrip 2015: June 2 & 3

Will You Join the Cult of Steel?: A Review of Lonewolf’s Cult of Steel album

Will You Join the Cult of Steel?: A Review of Lonewolf’s Cult of Steel album

Now I’m not saying that I know everything or every band out there in the land of rock and metal but what I am saying is that if a band has beginnings tracing back to 1992 and has issued seven albums to date, yet I’ve not ever heard of them until now may not a winning endorsement.  Behold Lonewolf hailing from Grenoble, France.  They began playing heavy metal back in 1992, developed a following and…
