This week we celebrate one of America’s greatest bands as we pick our Top 5 Ramones Songs 1976-1980! Born in Queens, NY, Ramones were a powder keg of chemistry as Johnny, Dee Dee, Joey, and Tommy (and later, Marky) lit a match that ignited an entire movement. The simple, edgy arrangements of throwback pop put through a buzzsaw turned up to 11 inspired an entire generation to start their own bands and, in turn, kick off the punk rock wave that would take the world by storm.
