Originally founded in 2002 as a Helloween tribute band, Italy’s power metal outfit Trick Or Treat soon forged ahead on their own merit. By 2009 the band had both the Evil Needs Candy Too and Tin Soldiers releases under their belt. A concept album entitled Rabbits’ Hill Pt. 1 based on Richard Adams‘ novel Watership Down was released in 2012.
Four years later the band is set to release the sequel, aptly titled, Rabbits’ Hill Pt. 2 on July 8th, 2016. Produced by Simone Mularoni (DGM), Rabbits’ Hill Pt. 2 will mark their first release with Frontiers Records. The band spent a record amount of time in the studio being sure to capture the intricate arrangements and huge orchestrations. An epic undertaking and the band has enlisted some guest friends and musicians to take part in the creation. Tim Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica) and the lovely Sara Squadrani (Ancient Bards) are all on board making Rabbits’ Hill Pt. 2 something extra special.
Today, June 27th, 2016 marks the release of the second video from the upcoming release for the song “Never Say Goodbye”. This track features the aforementioned guest vocalist Sara Squandrani and can be viewed below.
