Circus Maximus is a Norwegian progressive metal quintet from Oslo. They employ the use of symphonic and power metal influences that feature synthesizers and occasional keyboards. As of 2012, they have released three albums, The 1st Chapter in 2005, Isolate in 2007 and Nine, in 2012. Havoc, due out March 18, 2016, will be Circus Maximus‘ fourth studio album. The amazing songwriting and clever production highlight the band as one of the leaders in the Progressive Metal genre. Havoc transcends the boundaries of Progressive and Metal music. This 2CD Deluxe Edition includes one bonus studio track and a bonus CD of material recorded live in Japan in 2012.
