Dutch symphonic metal band EPICA released the lyric video for “Universal Death Squad“, the first single from the upcoming album The Holographic Principle.
Speaking about “Universal Death Squad“, Epica‘s guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen, says the single is similar in sound to what the rest of the album is like. “It’s a heavy and melodic album”, he says, “The lyrics are dealing about advanced robotic legions with a self-determination to kill. We have chosen for a different kind of lyric-video concept in which EPICA plays the track in a rehearsal room.”
