The show started in typical fashion with the band charging through classics Deuce and Shout It Out Loud. The band then performed Are You Ready, a track from the Gene Simmons Vault box set. Aside from a few expected songs, the remainder of the set list was surreal. Covers of Little Richard‘s Long Tall Sally and Help by The Beatles showcased Gene’s roots.

Moreover, the audience was treated to the such rarities as Almost Human, Sweet Pain and  I. Additionally, they performed the live debuts of She’s So European and It’s My Life. Add all that up and include a guest vocal by Extreme’s Gary Cherone and you’ve got an incredible concert.

The Gene Simmons Band are Gene Simmons ,Jeremy Asbrock, Philip Shouse, Ryan Cook, and Brent Fitz. More shows are scheduled for 2018 including select dates in the United States and a tour a of Australia. More info can be found HERE
