Helix Rock It ScienceCanadian metallers and platinum recording artists Helix have been in the business for more than 30 years and are still going strong! On the heels of 2014’s Bastard of the Blues full-length album and appearances on several Monsters of Rock Cruises (February’s voyage had many saying it was the best performance ever seen from the band), they unveiled the artwork by Brent Doerner and the track listing for an upcoming compilation CD titled Rock It Science, featuring a new song. Here’s the post from Facebook:

BRIAN VOLLMER’S FACEBOOK POST: “Today we finished up the mastering for our newest CD, a compilation disc spanning the band’s career, with one new track. Here’s the CD song list:
Billy Oxygen
You’re A Woman Now
Heavy Metal Love
Rock You
Deep Cuts The Knife
Wild In The Streets
Good To The Last Drop
Shock City Psycho Rock

Mystery track

Brent Doerner designed the CD cover. Pretty cool eh?”

The band reports via Facebook that they have been shooting a new video with former Helix guitarist turned videographer, Brent Doerner.

The band (once dubbed the hardest working band in Canada) have also recently announced a new show in Ottawa, Ontario on none other than Brian Vollmer‘s birthday: June 30th: HELIX at the BRASS MONKEY in Ottawa. 250 Greenbank Rd. (Facebook event)
