Get ready for mayhem on the golf course, the DWaRfS are golfing for charity! Just as the movie Happy Gilmore did, The KiLLeR DWaRfS are set to change the face of the gentleman’s sport! In support of a fantastic charity organisation, Feed The Need in Durham, the Canadian heavy metal band The KiLLeR DWaRfS are hosting their first annual golf tournament titled “Rock Against Hunger” and Decibel Geek has no intentions of being left out of this historic event. Decibel Geek not only will be a proud sponsor but look out for the Decibel Geek Foursome, “The Decibel Geek Drunks”, as we wander the course whacking at golf balls probably with hockey sticks or baseball bats (none of us actually own any clubs and have never even golfed before). The game will never be the same once the DWaRfS and Decibel Geek get involved, but let’s all come together here and raise some money for a worthy charity!
To add to the almost guaranteed mayhem and presiding over the event will be none other than rock and roll DJ and author “The Reverend” Luc Carl! Below is the actual press release for this event, including all of the information for you to sign up as a single or foursome and sponsorship opportunities. See you on the course (for a drink!).
