The Complete VINNIE VINCENT Collection (Feature)

Vinnie Vincent - Complete Vinnie Vincent Collection - Decibel GeekWelcome to Decibel Geek‘s Complete Vinnie Vincent Collection. Here, you’ll find links to everything we’ve done on the enigmatic KISS guitarist.

Born Vincent Cusano in Bridgeport Connecticut in 1952, Vinnie Vincent started guitar at an early age. In 1982, Vincent was chosen as the replacement guitarist for Ace Frehley in the rock band KISS. On stage, Vincent was the last member to wear a unique makeup/costume configuration. He was the character of “Ankh Warrior”, a design created by Paul Stanley. Until the band were first shown without the makeup during an interview on MTV in September 1983. Unfortunately, Vinnie‘s tenure in KISS was not long lasting and he was out after the Lick It Up tour wrapped in March 1984. However, what happened in between those dates was enough to cement Vinnie’s reputation with KISS fandom forever. Then, Vinnie went on to lead his own band, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, which spawned two full-length albums. The band featured future members of Slaughter among others.

After years of being off the radar, Vinnie Vincent has agreed and is “excited” to be featured at the Atlanta Kiss Expo in January 2018.
