25 Albums Turning 25 that Don't Suck (1993)This, my fourth edition of 25 Albums Turning 25 That Don’t Suck, was easily the hardest. While years past I found myself weeding my list down to 25, this year’s list almost included three live records from Iron Maiden and one Poison album.  1993 was not a banner year for rock music.  The first wave of grunge had settled down.  Kurt Cobain was arrested in a domestic incident with his wife Courtney LoveBruce Dickinson left Iron MaidenGuns N Roses played their last show with Duff and Slash until their recent reunion.  Savatage guitarist Criss Olivia was killed in a car accident.  Snoop Dogg was charged with drive-by murder.  Jimmy Page, as part of his deal with the Devil, was forced to make a record with David CoverdaleRick Astley retired after somehow selling 40 million records. And worst of all, Steely Dan reunited.

So while not the most impressive list of 25 albums, it is still, a list. So I give to you. In no particular order.  The undisputed list of 25 Albums Turning 25 That Don’t (for the most part) Suck.
