True American metal band White Wizzard finally unveil concrete plans regarding their long-anticipated new album. Band leader and bassist Jon Leon earlier this year announced the return of classic members, vocalist Wyatt “Screaming Demon” Anderson and guitarist James J. LaRue, to the ranks of White Wizzard, as well as a new label deal with M-Theory Audio. The band have spent much of 2017 crafting their finest offering to date, helmed once again by producer Ralph Patlan (Megadeth, UFO, Flotsam and Jetsam). Entitled Infernal Overdrive, the band’s fourth full-length, will be released January 12th on CD and gatefold double vinyl. The album is over an hour long and captures all the ingredients of past White Wizzard work but expands upon the template with seasoned maturity, outstanding musicianship and a widening of influences including ‘70s hard rock and progressive rock/metal.
White Wizzard hails from Los Angeles CA. Tired of the down-tuned screamo metal that seemed to be everywhere, bass player and guitarist/songwriter Jon Leon formed White Wizzard in the summer of 2007. The goal was simple – to bring the songwriting, melody and good times back into metal and rock.
Jon has, up until now, written and released 3 full-length albums, Over the Top, Flying Tigers, and The Devils Cut. All have received rave reviews.

Jon Leon

Though he has changed personnel on each album, Jon Leon‘s songwriting has remained consistent and the name White Wizzard has progressed.
Jon Leon is synonymous with White Wizzard and he will continue to write and release material in the White Wizzard name. However, with the return of members of the classic band line-up, good times must surely be just around the corner.

M-Theory Audio is based in Las Vegas, NV, and is a burgeoning company with a current roster including Warbringer, Exmortus, Flotsam and Jetsam, Hatchet, Bonded By Blood and Eliminate.
