AFM RecordsAs one of the premier record labels issuing rock and metal, AFM Records has been in the game for over 20 years. Many great names have been a part of their roster throughout the years. And today AFM continues to release some of the top names in metal. Starting at a time when music was at its darkest in North America, Andreas Allendörfer and Axel Fischer formed AFM in 1996. Based in Schwalmstadt, Germany, the name AFM stands for “All for Metal”.

Throughout the years, AFM has worked with artists such as Doro, Krokus, Avantasia, Accept, Annihilator, Crystal Ball, Edguy, Fear Factory, GWAR, Ministry, Mob Rules, Tankard and The Poodles to name but a few. Today their roster of bands contains over 100 names. Some of those include heavy hitters such as U.D.O., Ross The Boss, Shakra, Leaves’ Eyes, Lordi, Danzig, D-A-D, Gus G, Flotsam & Jetsam, Bonfire, Danko Jones, and Crystal Viper. You can find the whole current roster through the AFM website link below. And if you want to hear some tunes head over to the AFM Spotify playlist, also found below.

While Decibel Geek is much younger than AFM, we’ve listened to their outputs for many years. Consequently, below you’ll find some of the coverage that the Decibel Geek staff has awarded current AFM artists. From album reviews to concert reviews. Interviews to photo galleries. You’ll discover some great bands below. Furthermore, we obviously hope that we can provide more AFM support in the years to come! So, hope you enjoy the music as much as we do.

Thank you, AFM for more than 20 years of headbanging and sore necks.
