Stevie Rachelle joins the guys this week for Albums Unleashed – TUFF What Comes Around Goes Around. In this long-form discussion, Stevie discusses the circumstances that led to him fronting TUFF. Originally from Wisconsin, Rachelle was bitten by the bug early and headed west to Los Angeles in search of fame. However, it’s not instant success. In this talk, Rachelle reflects on his audition with TUFF, what led to his hiring, and the band’s rise on the Sunset Strip.

TUFF would slug it out on the Sunset Strip for a while; building their core audience at clubs such as Gazarri’s, The Whisky, Perkins Palace, and The Country Club. During this time, they’d be rejected by dozens of labels. Determined, the band would continue to tread the boards on regional tours through the Southern and Midwestern United States until Atlantic Records came calling.

What Comes Around Goes Around, released in 1991, was produced by Howard Benson and mixed by Sir Arthur Payson.

This episode features some great behind-the-scenes stories. We hope you enjoy Albums Unleashed – TUFF What Comes Around with Stevie Rachelle and SHARE with a friend!
