Autograph Decibel Geek‘s ace photographer Brian Ronald spent his time aboard the Monsters of Rock Cruise 2018 capturing as many fantastic performers in action as he could. In his first gallery of shots, he showcases Autograph as they rocked the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas! The Southern California hard rock band delivered three albums, Sign In Please [1984], That’s The Stuff [1985], and Loud and Clear [1987] before disbanding in 1989. Returning in 2014 with original members Steve Lynch (guitar) and Randy Rand (bass) and new recruits Simon Daniels (vocals/guitar) and Marc Weiland (drums) Autograph have toured the USA and played Firefest: The Final Fling in the UK. They released the full-length album, Get Off Your Ass in 2017.

Lynch puts it best, “We’re much heavier than before. We’re not using keyboards and we’re tuning down for a much fatter sound. That strengthens everything. At the same time, the melodic vocals and catchy hooks are still an integral part of our sound.” (from FB page)

Catch the band on tour near you soon. Check out their Facebook pages to find out when they’re in your city!
