Local heroes Helix have been touring and recording now for over 40 years! Sometimes they have been referred to as one of Canada’s hardest working bands. Throughout the 80’s they pumped out hits like “Rock You”, “Deep Cuts The Knife”, “Kids Are All Shakin”, “Without You” and, of course, “Heavy Metal Love”. Anyone that has witnessed Helix live recently knows that there is still plenty of rock left in the tanks. The recent reviews of their performance on the Monsters of Rock Cruise attest to high-octane rock that Brian and the boys will deliver. Their new video for “(Gene Simmons Says) Rock Is Dead” is an absolute blast!

QUIET RIOT

You don’t get more legendary than LA rockers Quiet Riot, also founded in 70’s. They became the first Heavy Metal act to reach number one on the Billboard Album charts with 1983’s Metal Health. Hits “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)”, “Cum On Feel The Noize”, “Party All Night and “Mama Weer All Crazee Now” dominated the airwaves and MTV. Sadly original vocalist Kevin Dubrow passed away in 2007 but drummer Frankie Banali continues to keep the music alive in all its glory. With bassist Chuck Wright, guitarist Alex Grossi and new vocalist Jizzy Pearl on board, Quiet Riot will wake the dead!

If you are in the Kitchener area do not miss the chance to witness a night of metal history! Did I mention it’s FREE!
