Branch Arterial Beyond the BorderMelbourne rockers Branch Arterial have just released a brand new lyric video for the song “My Curse”. This is the second single off of their upcoming album, following the release of the song “Circus”. Described as their heaviest effort yet, their debut album Beyond The Border will be out this Friday, April 28th. The band began producing this album back in 2013, but unfortunately, the band had to take a hiatus after bassist Kade Turner almost lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident in South America. Shortly after, lead vocalist Nigel Jackson began a battle with a life-threatening illness that required a bone marrow transplant. Luckily, after extensive hospital stays, both band members were able to recover and complete the album.

The album covers a vast array of topics, from global issues such as climate change to stories of personal struggle and failure. Depression, drug addiction, and schizophrenia are just some of the issues the band writes about on what is described as a “brutally honest release”. The band members have drawn on personal experience to deliver an album that pushes their musical boundaries, while staying true to their progressive roots as heard on their EP Voices Unknown (2011), and 2012 single “Faces”.

The band has shared the stage across Australia with notable acts such as Twelve Foot Ninja, Dead Letter Circus, Flyleaf (USA) and Klone (France). Selling out Melbourne’s iconic Esplanade Hotel for their 2011 EP release Voices Unknown, the band always sets the bar high during their live performances. After the last few years of personal struggles, it is clear that the band is ready to make a big comeback and share their stories with their fans.
