The mighty Clutch have set a September 7th, 2018 release date for their forthcoming new album Book of Bad Decisions. The album was recorded at Sputnik Sound Studios in Nashville. This release marks the first time Clutch have recorded with producer VancePowell, who is best known for his ability to capture a band’s “live sound and vibe” in the studio setting. In no way am I saying that previous Clutch albums are lacking in any form, but, the idea of a Clutch album basically recorded live in studio has me wishing the the summer away.
September won’t get here soon enough. The band just released the new single “Gimme The Keys”, which is the first of four singles that you will be able get to help hold you over until September by simply preordering Book of Bad Decisions. The album is available to preorder in any format you that prefer. I’m going with 2xLP colored as well as the 2xLP picture vinyl. Knowing me, I’ll end up buying the plain black vinyl as well. Yeah, call me strange, I say I am just a completist.
I can’t tell you how many different copies I have of the same random album. And Clutch albums? Don’t get me started. Take my money! They get me everytime. I recently caught up with the guys and shot their show at the Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, Ky. Please enjoy the included photo gallery from the show and be sure to preorder Book of Bad Decisions through the link below.
