Europe – War of Kings – March 10, 2015
Swedish rock legends, famous for “The Final Countdown” song, are set to unleash War of Kings on March 10, 2015. This tenth studio album for the Swedes and front man Joey Tempest calls War of Kings “the album we always wanted to make, ever since we were kids listening to bands like Zeppelin, Purple, and Sabbath.” Europe formed in 1979, issuing five albums including the 1986 smash The Final Countdown, which achieved them worldwide fame, before going on hiatus from 1992-2003. The 2003 reunion has seen the band issue four albums, 2004’s Start From the Dark, 2006’s Secret Society, 2009’s Last Look at Eden and 2012’s Bag of Bones.
