Great WhiteIt’s been a long and winding road since 1977 when Jack Russell met Mark Kendall and they formed Great White (after a few other names were used).

You can read all about the ups, downs, and tragedies elsewhere but where we stand now is that we have two versions of the band releasing new material.

We have Jack Russell’s Great White, who released He Saw It Comin’ earlier this year, and Kendall‘s version, simply Great White.

June 2, 2017, will see the release of Full Circle by Great White, whose line-up is currently Mark Kendall (guitar) Michael Lardie (keyboards & guitar) Scott Snyder (bass) Audie Desbrow (drums) and  Terry Ilous (vocals).

The band is reunited with legendary producer and friend of the Decibel Geek Podcast Michael Wagener (Alice CooperMegadethMetallicaOzzy Osbourne) and was recorded at Wagener‘s Nashville Wireworld Studio.

Full Circle track-listing:

01. “I’m Alright”
02. “Movin’ On”
03. “This Is The Life”
04. “Let Me In”
05. “Moonshine”
06. “Cry Of A Nation”
07. “Give It Up”
08. “Big Time”
09. “Never Let You Down”
10. “I’ve Got Your Back”

“We can’t thank our fans enough for being there with us over all of these decades,” Kendall told Blabbermouth.net. “It sounds insane to say decades, and when you think about it, that’s how long it’s been since we worked with Michael Wagener. Being excited in the studio with him is an understatement — he’s a driving force and a legend behind the soundboard.”

Great White is fueled by performing live – we love that energy that you can’t find in the studio,” Lardie added. “But, when you do get us working on a new record, there’s a bond that is forged — it’s almost like alchemy… it’s years of stories, heartache, momentum, and love that we put to track.”

Plenty has been written and said about the band over the years but now is the time you can compare and contrast two current ongoing versions of Great White. You never know, you may love them both…….
