Guitar masters Vinnie Moore (UFO) and Gus G (Firewind, ex-Ozzy Osbourne) are hitting the road together this November and December to bring you the 2017 Gunslingers tour! This is Vinnie’s first solo tour since 2015, and Gus’ first follow up to his 2016 solo tour of North America, promoting his 2015 album Brand New Revolution. The tour will feature music from both guitarists’ highly impressive catalogs.

Says Vinnie of his partnership with the Greek powerhouse: Gus and I met years back in Greece. I brought him up onstage to jam a couple tunes with me and we had a great energy together and had a blast. I knew that night that I would like to do some shows with him at some point. He’s a very talented guitarist. I am really looking forward to some Gunslingin’ with Gus.

Vinnie has been a force to be reckoned with in the guitar world since his first release Mind’s Eye in 1987. Since then, Vinnie has set the standard for instrumental guitar albums by delivering soulful songs that feature his signature crackling guitar solos along with memorable melodic lines. His latest album, 2015’s Aerial Visions, is no exception.

Gus comments, “Touring with Vinnie Moore is yet another dream come true for me. His album Mind’s Eye has had a huge impact on me, as I consider it somewhat as a shred guitar “bible”. I spent countless hours learning his licks as a teenager. We met and got to jam few years ago and have become good buddies since. I’m looking forward to returning to the US and playing guitar for you & sharing the stage with Vinnie! See you soon!”

Gus has been solidifying his place in rock and metal for years, playing with bands ranging from Arch Enemy and Dream Evil, to his own band Firewind, which eventually led to him being handpicked by none other than Ozzy Osbourne himself to join the prince of darkness as his new axe-slinger in 2009. Gus has recorded more than a dozen studio albums, including two solo albums: 2014’s I Am The Fire and 2015’s Brand New Revolution. Both albums feature an impressive number of collaborations with some of rock and metal’s most talented musicians, including Mats Leven (Candlemass), Elize Ryd (Amaranthe), Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Yngwie, TSO), Jacob Bunton (Alder, Lynam), Michael Starr (Steel Panther) and countless others.
