Leaves' EyesLeaves’ Eyes is a Symphonic/Viking/Pagan/Folk Metal formed by Norwegian lead singer Liv Kristine in 2003.  I found this band with the release of their 2013 album Symphonies of The Night and became an instant fan. In 2015, thanks to AFM RecordsLeaves’ Eyes released their 6th studio album King Of Kings. This was my #1 album for 2015. As good as the album was, Leaves’ Eyes decided it was time to switch things up. In April 2016 the band and singer Liv Kristine decided to part ways which made room for Finnish singer Elina Siirala.

With a lot of controversy online about the split, Leaves’ Eyes stayed positive about the change. Taking their live show on the road, the negativity online soon went away as Elina easily proved she would be a perfect fit for the band.

Their current tour came to Toronto Canada at The Opera House on April 27th, brought to you by Inertia Entertainment. This was my first time seeing them live and it surely was a night to remember.

Here are my photos of Leaves’ Eyes in Toronto. Also be sure to check out my interview with Alex Krull and my King of Kings album review.
