LionsaultCanada is not exactly well-known for our music festivals. We do have a few however and Montebello Rockfest is one of the largest celebrations. This year Lionsault has been nominated and is in the running to possibly be one of the bands playing this event. You, the Decibel Geek reader/listener surely know this Lionsault band! They’ve been played on the Decibel Geek podcast. They’ve had their album, Are You Feeling Lucky?, reviewed on the website. But Lionsualt and Decibel Geek go way deeper than just that! The band completed their first “outside the Maritimes” tour this past summer that included a several night stint at “The Meister Hotel” and even a Toronto Blue Jays game with our editor!

The band recently posted an encouraging message on their Facebook page…and many Decibel Geek staff are voting like madmen. Here it is: “Hey guys. We need your help right now more than ever. We have been entered into the Montebello Rockfest Rocker Contest. Whichever band gets the most votes gets to play at the Montebello Rockfest which is one of the biggest festivals in the whole country. We would be playing with the likes of Rammstein, Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age, Megadeth and so much more. All you gotta do is click the link and vote for Lionsault. You can vote once per day so make this part of your daily routine and get Lionsault on Rockfest!!!”

So, follow the link below and help support Lionsault and their bid to play at Montebello Rockfest. You can vote once per day!
