Rockshots Records is thrilled to announce the signing of the renowned and well-known keyboard player Mistheria, for the release of the new album Gemini.

Gemini is an instrumental metal album which collects 13 songs composed and/or arranged by Mistheria in the metal, neo-classical, prog-metal genres. The record features a stellar line-up made of well-known international musicians as well!

Mistheria comments: “The tracks on Gemini are a combination of my original songs and classical covers and a blend of them. Gemini collects my instrumental songs composed along my career, therefore I titled it Gemini which is my astrological sign. That’s me and my music fully represented. Songs range from metal and symphonic-metal to prog including some new-age atmospheres. That’s basically my vision of music, quite open and wide.”

The album covers Mistheria‘s career from the beginning to today, 25-year career in the metal, classical, prog, symphonic and neo-classical metal music.
Original and cover of classical masterpieces are both featured in this long-awaited release.
Recordings started in 2012 after all demo versions were completed, including songwriting and arrangements. John Macaluso was the first musician to enter the studio after Mistheria himself. John recorded drums in a 1-day long and exhausting session; an insane and legendary performance by the amazing American drummer! Afterward, Mistheria called the other members to move ahead: Steve Di Giorgio and Dino Fiorenza laid down “tank” bass tracks, Roger Staffelbach, Leonardo Porchedduand Ivan Mihaljevic superb guitar tracks and the special guests Chris Caffery (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Savatage) and Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Halford) delivered fantastic guitar solos!

Gemini is set to be released on December 15, 2017, in digipack version, digital streaming and download via Rockshots Records.
