All the rock news that’s fit to spit this week is covered with New Noize! 2018 is off to a roaring start with tons of stories coming from the rock world as well as some incredible releases. We’re happy to dish it up and serve you our opinions.

Judas Priest is possibly the top story in the rock/metal community right now. Sadly, Glenn Tipton recently announced a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease; forcing him to sit out the Firepower tour. In light of this news, producer Andy Sneap is filling his shoes. What are our thoughts on the Firepower album? Chris is giving you his review. Additionally, we discuss the incredible set list for the opening night of the tour.

Kid Rock soon enters the WWE Hall of Fame. What does Kid Rock have to do with wrestling? We’ll let you know. Donnie Vie recently announced a Pledge Music campaign to fund his new album. We share our thoughts on this endeavor. At the same time, Denman announced their first full-length recording with producer Michael Wagener is complete. We share our hopes for this great young band in this New Noize episode.

Additionally, we talk about some of the new breed of rock coming out of Frontiers such as Shiraz Lane, Animal Drive, Perfect Plan, and Doomsday Outlaw. Equally interesting are some wish-list bands that Frontiers hopes to secure deals with including Vinnie Vincent.
