Nightwish-Endless FormsFew top Kitee, Finland’s Nightwish when it comes to symphonic metal. Forming in 1996, the band achieved North American success with their breakthrough fifth release, “Once”, in 2004. The most successful Finnish band worldwide, Nightwish are set to issue a two-disc media book “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” on March 31, 2015. This album will be the first to feature Floor Jansen on lead vocals who became a permanent member of Nightwish along with longtime session Uilleann pipes player Troy Donockley in 2013. Jansen is the third vocalist of Nightwish, the band starting out with Tarja Turunen leading the pack from ’96-’05, followed by Anette Olzon from ’07-’12. Expect Nightwish to deliver more of the cinematic storytelling, symphonic flourishes, shredding guitar work and chugging rhythms mastered and displayed across their expansive and impressive career.
