NYDM Spring Bash 2018

The NYDM SPRING BASH (April 19-22, 2018)

Decibel Geek website editor/staff writer and co-host of the CGCM Podcast, The Meister, has discovered yet another awesome American Music Festival. Catching a Facebook shared post by one of his favorite bands, Lady Beast (co-incidentally his #1 album of the year), he scrambled for information. Check out that lineup poster! A Traditional Metal fan’s dream come true with some of those bands such as Cirith Ungol, Night Demon, Helstar and more. The NYDM Spring Bash takes place April 19-22, 2018.

With 2-day, 3-day and single Sunday tickets already on sale (link), this Milwaukee WI event is sure to reach capacity. There are three more bands still to unveil as well as a “Mystery Band”. The “Mystery Band” is said to be revealed the week prior to the event…any speculations?

From looking at past photos on the Facebook page it seems that NYDM Spring Bash began in 2010. In those past event posters, it appears that the fest began originally with heavier styled metal. Eventually expanding to add an even mixture the Thrash and Traditional Metal genres.

A Recent Facebook Post by NYDM SPRING BASH 2018

News recently posted on the Facebook page states: “Traditionally the NYDM Spring Bash has been a 2 or 3 day event but this year that changes because we have been fortunate enough to be able to add an early show on Sunday, April 22nd featuring for the 1st time ever the mighty Cirith Ungol in the Midwest along with arguably the hottest band going now in the form of Night Demon along with openers Damien Thorne, The Conqueror Worm and possibly 1 more epic band … Ticket link for SUNDAY only will be active soon. (Tickets will be limited so don’t snooze on this one) Thank you Jarvis LeatherbyTim Baker and Dan Rozenblum for this opportunity!!!!”
