Twelve more acts for the 2019 Sweden Rock Festival were revealed this morning! Speaking as an attendee of the event since 2013, Sweden Rock 2019 may just be one of the best lineups yet. For me personally anyway! Here’s the press release announcement translated from Swedish thanks to Google Translate:

Slayer does his last Sweden show ever at the Sweden Rock Festival in June!

On Wednesday, Slayer played for a crowded Hovet on his farewell tour. Now it’s clear that the band’s last final show in Sweden is ever done at the Sweden Rock Festival in June!

2019 will also be the year when the world’s premier prog band, Dream Theater, will return to Sölvesborg – ten years after their last visit.

The following ten acts are hereby confirmed for the summer festival: Styx, Three Days Grace, UFO, Danko Jones, Seventh Wonder, Witchfynde, A.C.T., Hällas, Lisa Lystam Family Band and James Holkworth and The Coolbenders.

Sweden Rock 2019Previously, Kiss, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Tenacious D, Disturbed and Amon Amarth have been confirmed. 33 of 82 acts still to be presented.

The Sweden Rock Festival is held in Sölvesborg on 5-8 June.

The regular 4-day tickets are sold out, but VIP tickets and a few 3-day tickets are still on sale.

Sweden Rock is Scandinavia’s biggest hard rock festival. Every year, visitors from around 50 countries are attracted to Sölvesborg, where they are invited to over 80 concerts in a mix of classical rock, hard rock, southern rock and metal. Sweden Rock is renowned for keeping a high level of service, and the friendly atmosphere has become one of the festival’s main signatures. In addition to the annual festival, Sweden Rock now has a magazine magazine, beverages and lifestyle products gathered under its brand.
