The release date of the of the new album, Hair Of The Hound? by the British hard rock/metal band The Filth Hounds on CD is October 26, 2018. The album will be released via Pure Steel Publishing.
The songwriting, the vocals, the playing, the total feeling … is all 1981. If somebody tells you this was a hidden treasure from a rare album made in that great times I am sure you will believe it.  This is true 80s handmade heavy metal. The touch of the imperfect and the rough edge is what we look for all the time, but usually don’t find it with so many sterile anti-septic new bands … so finally there is a way out!
The Filth Hounds were formed in 2011 and are based in North East England.
The Filth Hounds started gigging around the north east of England in early 2012, playing their own brand of original melodic hard rock/ metal songs, and within a short space of time, the band had won a heat of a local ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition. With this success, The Filth Hounds had won the opportunity to release a download single through EmuBands, via a variety of online sites.
The following years saw the band share the stage with acts such as Graham Bonnet, Jaguar, Jess Cox, Tokyo Blade and Witchfynde.
Hair of the Hound? is the follow-up to 2016’s Release the Hounds.
2018 promises to be a big year since signing with metal label Pure Steel Records.
