ChallengeWith the music industry changed drastically, an old-fashioned promotion will not do it any longer. Bands need to be creative to stand out on a musical – and non-musical level.
Four bands from the Metal Revelation roster have joined forces and have launched a completely new idea: they video challenge each other! Every Friday, a new challenge is launched and the other bands will respond to this the next week.
This is running for a couple of weeks now and the amount of fun for the fans and the band members themselves is fantastic!
Participating are:
SEVEN THORNS: Danish Power Metal
BOSTOK: Alternative Metal from Spain
So far, the challenges included to copy a difficult guitar solo, to place merch at the highest point, to sing a song in a car, to add a love song on your upcoming album….
This week, the challenge was to cover the song which was #1 on the day the singer was born. With fantastic and also hilarious results that you can watch below.
This is a great example on how bands can work together and actively take the future of Metal into their own hands.

Immortal Machinery and Bostok both have new albums set to be released on April 7th. Please use the links provided below to find music from each of the bands listed as well as check their social media for upcoming shows.
