What a long, strange trip it’s been. When we got together in 2011, we couldn’t have envisioned that we’d still be doing this over 11 years later. Moreover, we never expected to have made the connections, friendships, and memories that will serve us for the rest of our lives.

In this mega-long episode, we share drinks, stories, memories and more as we look back on 500 episodes of Decibel Geek. From the theme shows to the interviews to the behind the scenes stories, we covered a lot of ground. It was heartening to take a moment to remember the stories, the people, and the response to these episodes. We discuss a lot of behind the scenes stories from over the years including the now-infamous April Fool’s episode that got mixed reviews at the time.

Additionally, we hear from several friends that are listeners and podcasters who graciously provided great feedback and audio clips. It was a blast to hear from you all. We don’t take the friendships and listenership lightly. While we’ve entertained you, you’ve done even more for us over the years and it’s appreciated.

While this is a very long, rambling talk, we hope you enjoy our look back at 500 episodes of the Decibel Geek podcast and SHARE with a friend!
