Long time Decibel Geek contributors/staff writers/editors/occasional Podcast hosts Wally“Wallygator”Norton and Rich“The Meister”Dillon have unveiled their own show titled Canadian Geeks (with Beers)Chatting Metal Podcast. That’s quite a mouthful to spit out, so they also go by the acronym CGCM Podcast. The self-dubbed Hoser Heavy Metal Twins have overtaken the airwaves of Decibel Geek five years running to host the Thanksgiving episode in place of regular hosts Chris and Aaron. Now the “time is right” they say for their own podcast which will see the premiere episode available on April 10th. Why April 10? Well, both hosts share that date of birth so it only makes sense for their podcast to celebrate the very same birthday. Toronto beer brewers Rhythm & Brews, the company responsible for Diemonds Never Wanna Die P.A., has signed on as a proud sponsor of the beer loving Canucks. The CGCM duo posted the following message on Facebook recently:
It’s finally happened! The CGCM Podcast sponsored by Rhythm & Brews Brewing Co. launches episode #1 “Who are These Idiots” on April 10th. After 5 yearly stints commandeering the airwaves of Decibel Geek at Thanksgiving, The Hoser Heavy Metal Twins are branching out with their own show. The Canadian “Geeks” took to FB live Friday night to discuss their upcoming podcast and show that they really have no clue what they are doing! Go “like” their page and that of their beer sponsor and check out their antics in the FB video…..it’s 7 minutes of your life that you will never recover!
