Oni Logan has once again quit Lynch Mob.  Apparently to pursue other interests.  One (me) might opine that being in a band that plays just a handful of shows a year, should leave plenty of time for other project(s).  But who am I to speculate.  Posting on his Facebook page Oni States:

“A brother has left the building”

As a new year shines a light so do new beginnings..
Some that make the heart flutter and some that just have to happen.
I’ve been the original vocalist for Lynch Mob on and off for many years,
I’ve played a lot of great shows and traveled a lot of miles with this band,
I’m very proud to have been a part of the recordings and the brotherhood.
I’d like to say thanks to the fans who have continued to come to our shows over the years and for all your interest in what we had to say in our new recordings.

Very excited for 2018! I’ll be putting together a new recording and touring project.
Writing and recording has always been the most satisfying aspect in being a musician,
I’ll be looking forward to writing with other artist and bands,
2018 is wide open and I’m feeling a sense of new beginnings coming on…

Best to all in 2018??✌️
Oni

What does this mean for Lynch Mob going forward?  No official word yet.  Maybe Warrant can share former Lynch Mob front man Robert Mason.  Or maybe this opens the door for the return of Keith St. John.  Or John West.  Or Kirk Harper.  Or Chas West.  Or Christopher C. Romero.  Or maybe they’ll just get a new singer.  Is Mandy Lion available?

  1. In all honesty, Oni leaving the group is good news. I Love Lynch Mob but the fact that that they had to drop tune a million steps to rerecord it tells us all that he doesn’t have it anymore. It’s just age. It’s a natural progression. Besides Robert Mason would fill in just fine.

  2. Like sands through the hourglass……….One of the unfortunate side effects of liking Lynch is you never know what he’s going to do or how long it will last. Having Oni as a singer is like Monday morning with an alcoholic employee. Combine Lynch’s RLS with Oni’s tendency for longevity and here we go again. Seeing that George is slated to be involved in 3 releases this year, and that KXM and Sweet Lynch are seemingly working with their current formulas, maybe it’s time to relieve Lynch Mob of it’s duties. Lynch has a large enough catalog now, and since Oni’s membership is so schizophrenic, maybe he should do what would be Lynch Mob as solo George Lynch. Isn’t that what a Lynch Mob with only George left is anyway?

  3. I’m ok with this. I would love to hear Oni do some different things. As much as I love George and Oni together, I have heard them do some really good things apart as well. I’m just grateful we have all the killer music they made.

  4. Listen George get your shit straight….Going on MOR cruise …..don’t fuck it up…….Pickles……
