We also touch on the recent passing of Jesus Chrysler drummer Craig Duffy. It’s a sad loss to his family, friends, and fans. Our condolences go out to you all and, in tribute, all music on the show this week is by Jesus Chrysler. Shine on, Duffy.
Additionally, we are saddened by the recent news of the ending of the Rock & Metal Combat Podcast. It is quite a surprise and this week we share our feelings on the podcast, the possible plans for Ralph and Ian going forward, and a proposal from Chris to the guys directly. I’m a huge fan and started listening about 6-8 months ago via Spotify and was adding past episodes to an actual playlist that I made with podcast episodes that I wanted to catch up on and/or listen to without going back and forth to the profile pages…THEN… the DGP was gone! While I still use Spotify… FUCK THOSE GUYS!!! Still a fan and now visit your website 2-3 times a week to get updates on the podcast. Keep your heads up and keep kicking podcast ass!!!
Been a listener for a few years, from Australia. I listen for the music, i especially love radio sux ( cause it does) and learning about new music to get into. Can’t help thinking universal is missing a trick here, this is the closest thing to mtv we have these days with Chris and Aaron being suck major influences in what people listen to.
What i don’t get, this embargo is only on Spotify, why not boycott Spotify and keep doing what you are doing on other platforms? Is the litigation risk that big?
